Peace Corps Information Session January 20 4:30-5:30 110 Heller Hall

Looking for something to do after graduation? The Peace Corps is having an information session January 20 from 4:30-5:30 pm in 110 Heller Hall. The information session will feature returned Peace Corps volunteer guest speaker Jenny Case. Jenny served in Costa Rica from 2004-2006 in a Children, Youth and Families program. She is currently a second year grad student at the U in the School Of Public Health’s Community Education program.

Bridge Academic Excellence is hiring students for the summer

Bridge to Academic Excellence is an academic program for new freshmen students at the University of Minnesota. Program participants will be students from diverse backgrounds who have little or no family college-attendance history (i.e. first generation). The program begins with a six-week intensive academic component in June of 2010 and continues through the fall and spring. Academic and social activities will help ensure student success at the University of Minnesota.

The program is looking for both peer mentors and teaching assistants. Applications are due February 26, 2010.

U of M Job and Internship Fair February 22, 2010 10:00 am-4:00 pm Minneapolis Convention Center

Come to the biggest student career fair in Minnesota! Over 200 organizations will be there recruiting for hundreds of jobs and internships.
