Volunteer tutors are needed for students of Italian. Tutors are incredibly important, as students from five course levels of Italian rely on them for guidance and assistance. Tutoring offers a great opportunity to practice teaching skills, test what you really know, and also looks good on a resume. Schedules are determined by the tutors, so volunteering is completely at your convenience. If you qualify to be a tutor, please consider trying the experience this semester.
Tutors must have completed ITAL 3015 with a grade of B+ or higher. Applications should be sent to the Italian program’s Carlotta Dradi-Bower, either via email or to her office in 314 Folwell. Applications should include an unofficial transcript and a brief statement of interest. Please include your name, email, phone number, one professor of Italian by whom you have been instructed, and your hours available.
