Worried about financing your study abroad? It’s not too late!

La Société des Professeurs Français et Francophones d’Amérique (SPFFA) is offering mini-scholarships for students still seeking financial aid for their upcoming study abroad programs in 2015.

Each “mini-bourse” is for $1500 for students studying in France summer 2015 or autumn 2015 for three or more weeks.

Candidates must:
-Have a GPA of 3.50
-Produce a copy of their transcript (not necessarily an official transcript)
-Write a letter of intent (preferably in French)
-Be officially accepted to the program they are seeking funding for, and be able to present proof of their enrollment.
-Produce an honest and complete list of other financial aid the student is receiving

When ready students must submit a complete dossier as one single PDF file by email to: sopffam@gmail.com on or before May 15th, 2015.
The items to be included in this document are:

  • The student’s complete university transcript (unofficial is fine)
  • Letter of intent (preferably in French)
  • Proof of acceptance to the program student is financing
  • Complete list of other financial aid student is receiving

If you have any questions about the dossier feel free to contact SPFFA at that same email address: sopffam@gmail.com.
Bon courage à vous tous!
